just a little cross section of some of the wonderful little works that are generally bi and large utterly overlooked while I remain almost completely unappreciated in my own time - in this the age of Boris Johnsons Brexit Britain - in Donald Trumps age of the Charlatan !

but still I might as well stick these things out here so although it generally creates a platform for piracy from some of my less creatively endowed contemporaries - it is also an element of dated public record - so that when the time comes to contest the integrity of some carpet bagging rip off merchant that comes along and tries to pander my ideas as their own … there is at least the footing of precedent x

as the round the island yacht race draws to a close once again - I am reminded of a pitch that I put forward to a fellow designer and business man - 

' Sexier than The Arts Hole on a Daz Cat ' I pitched this as an idea to the guys at ' Daz Cat Designs ' for a means of cross and co promotion - wherby we load a load of art into these fine sailing multi hulls and take the whole shebang out and around this little Brexit Island - it would be great for the boats - it would be graet for the various little art groups that are based around the peninsula where these boats are built -  lack of vision and or commitment unfortunately left the notion completely unrealised

this is a great little notion that fits in beautifully to Mount Edgecumbe Country Park in Cornwall - and this one looks at this stage like it might actually be realised - wonderful seeing as I can personally produce the palaeontological replicas just dowm the road - keeping the whole and every aspect of this great original little idea  absolutely local - so touching wood and keep and ye out for this as its much better than the government issued Elephants that are being distributed all around these counties at present !! if you like Elephants - one of the next species in line for extinction with mans preoccupation with plastic unrelenting entertainments - then how can you not love a dinosaur !! 

Of course I have pitched this a formed notion to the local council - but they don't like my attitude - and I loathe their incompetence - so for now at least you wont be getting any Valerio inspired botanical gardens - you wont see any Valerio dinosaurs in the would be botanical garden - and there is very little leeway to end up with an urban farm and social housing initiative off of the back of these original Valerio notions - by all means put a little pressure on your local authority and see if we can spearhead a public support driven negotiation / consultaion or even manifestation - but as I keep saying this is bois johnsosn Brexit Britain - so for now this remains un realised in its full potential - and I wont hold my breath x 

installation proposal - again somewhat dinosaur themed - The Tory Saurus Blues - a popular installation - marking homage to the nonsensical and incessant ' austerity ' imposed by our current series of successive 'governments' despite a decade worth of protest - untold unnecessary deaths - and even a UN investigation into the unessacary hardships that have been forced onto the public of this country over the past decade !

This Country is just a laughable joke at this stage ….. the only people that can remain amused by this utter farce presented as ' function ' …. are those suitably interned by it as to be overpaying for a house and home by 60% - 70% … and think that they are getting a good deal ( even though most comparisons over housing and living quality , demonstrate the u.k to be miles behind even ' developing nations ' these days )

'' A place in The Sun '' - '' Homes Under the Hammer '' …. we have had decades of this propaganda trying to encourage people to see the ' bargain ' that can be had with a crumbling pile of bricks with no roof and rising damp in this drizzle ridden  british climate ….. its easy to see that for what you would spend on a single dwelling in some run down suburb in some dying market town in this country  …. you could actually get a reasonable family home …. with ample room …. external spaces ….. in a community that still functions …… in a far more appealing climate …. less taxes …. better food and beer …..


but keep calm and carry on folks ….. if you just buy that crumbling piece of shit ( pay the estate agent and the duty and taxes ) …. spend some money fixing it up ( pay the mark up on some DIY monopoly ) … well you yourself could yeald a rental income ( again commissions being payed to people that actually don't render very much )  …. and take the profit element of that income and go and live abroad …. in some brittish ex pat …. all day breakfast buffet - costa del asshole piece of shit …..

what a fucking nightmare …..

and now … instead of tackling the national homelessness issues …. stabilizing national and international trade agreements …. decades worth of underfunded and failing infrastructure …. higher education renders a debt sentence equivocal to damn mortgage ….. the engineered destruction of our NHS and outlying social support systems … we get funding available for competitive commercial initiatives …. all vying for the attached commissions …. less work = more pay !!! the age of the fucking charlatan rolls on

so we get a ' high speed ' rail network for 4 times its original budget allocation

watch this space … if my predictions are correct we will end up with the majority of that capitol being carved up into a bonus structure that tends to reward the brothers / sisters / cousins / sons and daughters … of the previous generations utter incompetent's.... who somehow have managed to earmark all of the managerial and utterly unaccountable positions in this country ….

It would be funny ….. if it wasn't such a fucking tragedy !!!

Those of you out there in the internet ether that follow this bizarre ramshackle means of survival through practiced discipline in this age of the percentage people and the comissioneers , will no doubt be aware of the Giant Rabbit that has featured in many of the autobiographical cartoons over the past 10 years or so - Mr T.... the Trago Mills Rescue Rabbit - that has squatted art facilities on my behalf - has sailed around coastlines with me and even appeared as the travelling mascot to many of my touring exhibitions ....

well I am very sad to report that my fluffy companion finally let age get the better of him !! and we have now buried him in a suitable and seckuded place on the edge of dartmoor

I have had many pets over the years , Dogs , Cats , Chinchilla's , Tarantualas ..... and yes of course Rabbits - and I do have a soft spot for Rabbits - I think that they are one of the least appreciated of the ' domesticated pets ' ..... indeed many people just think of a pet rabbit as that little fluffy thing in the garden hutch that only lives for three years or so ..... but that is so far from the potential truth !!

so heartbroken and reflective as I am at the moment - I have been skirting around this image for nearly week now -

but felt it was a suitable Homage to many things that have held influence over ' my work ' and so persisted and I do think that it is a suitable and fitting ' ode ' to a dear pet and companion -
